Welcome to My Classroom

Okay, so school has been in session for more than a month, but I still wanted to show you around my classroom. These pictures were taken the day after Open House. That was kinda my second chance to get all the things done that didn't happen before the first day of school.

This is where I post our agenda for the week.


This is my word wall. I wil list all the prefixes, sufixes and root words we learn during the year. We have already learned bunches of words but adding them to the wall is always on the bottom of my to-do list. I'll post a picture when that happens so you know that I'm doing my job.


This is my desk area. My favorite thing about my room is the view out that window. There is a grassy area with a picnic table. The autumn sun has been shining in for the past couple of weeks, and it makes it feel so school-ish.
Also, the plant was purchased specifically for Open House. Posting this picture reminded me that I forgot to water it on Friday, so it may or may not be with us when I return tomorrow.
