Thing 13: Online Image Generator

Anyone would have fun with these online image generators! The mosaic maker was a fun way to organize pictures from a vacation in a new, eye-catching way. It would be great to use on personal blogs.


Part of my summer reading has included finishing The Hunger Game series. These books were part of the Texas Lone Star series, and I had seen many students reading them. Then, some of my friends started blogging and tweeting about the series. I decided that I needed to find out what they are all about. They did not disappoint! I strongly recommend that you pick them up and read them in time to enjoy the movie that comes out next spring. I made a trading card for the novel's main character, Katniss Everdean. This would be an excellent alternate book report or characterization activity, and the students will love it!
