A New Year, A New Blog

After much blog admiration and encouragement from friends, I decided to jump out there and start my own!

I started writing down little odds and ends for 2009 in my new calendar. I noticed that after June, I didn't have the slightest clue what the future might hold. Now I have the perfect place to post new developments and all those moments in between.

So let's talk about what's been going on...

I rang in the new year in Austin with lots of great friends.
We passed away the hours with plenty of laughter, too much food, and lots and lots of Rockband! I also attempted a new tradition. Amy Jo told us that in Spain they eat twelve grapes a midnight- one each time the clock chimes. I gave it a good shot, but believe me, you have quite a mouthful of grapes long before you get to twelve! So I might only have six or seven months of good luck or health or whatever it is the grapes symbolize.
I'm excited about what the new year holds. It's going to be one filled with changes and unknowns, but I'm okay with that. I look forward to being able to share this experience with you! Thanks for reading and happy new year!
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Proverbs 3:5-6
