YouTube is one of my most frequently used technological resources. I use it for movie clips that illustrate a point we've been talking about, free music to use during an activity (which can also make an excellent timer: "By the end of the song,..."), or just as a good bribe.
I've found that I can find resources for almost anything that we read in class, whether it's scenes from a movie I didn't know had been made or a student project that relates to the story. I've found audio for chapters of books that have allowed us to listen to portions of a text. Something that I plan to use this upcomming school year is 60 Second Shakespeare. These brief clips give a synopsis of the plot, characters, setting, theme, etc.
When I use a YouTube video for an incentive at the end of class, I usually have it relate to something that is going on at school. For instance, I shared this video inclass before the 8th grade dance that night:
YouTube makes classtime more fun for me, and I'm pretty sure the students agree!
